Blue, vessel and lid
Description:
This vessel is in the shape of a bronze ding. In ancient times, this shape of vessel standing on three legs was used to prepare food for ritual use. This glass version may have been part of an altar set or purely decorative. The patterns on this glass ding show monster masks and dragons similar to decoration found on ancient Chinese bronzes.
