Description:

Vases like this are known in English as ‘mallet’ shaped. In Chinese it is called �horse�s hoof� shape. This shape was popular for ceramic vases from the Kangxi reign period (1662-1722) and was often copied in glass.

马蹄瓶 中国，清乾隆朝（1736-1795） 中国人称这形制的的花瓶为「马蹄瓶」，英语则名为‘mallet’，指其形状像木槌。康熙年间（1662－1722），这式制甚为流行，并为玻璃制品所仿效。 玻璃 磨蚀方框内刻有｢乾隆年制｣四字，并有镶金的痕迹。
