Letter from John Smith, Commander of the ship Clifton. Smith was from Barbados in the Caribbean and Ilfracombe in Devon.The letter is to the owners of Samuel Munckley and Co, regarding a voyage to Barbados, and the return passage.

Samuel Munckley was a ship owner and merchant of Bristol, 1720 – 1802.
