The Alert sailed for Cape Coast with 225 slaves. At South Carolina, 205 were sold.

The Royal Charlotte sailed for Bonny, West Africa. The number of slaves bought is not known, but 377 were sold at Jamaica.

Muster roll for the ship, the Hector , from Jamaica, 1783.
Although the muster roll says from Jamaica , this was just the last leg of a slaving voyage to Cape Coast in West Africa. The master was said to have bought 400 slaves, but the ship was reported to have reached Dominica with 514, and landed 112. The ship reached Jamaica with 402 or 390 slaves.

The Alexander sailed for Bonny, although the number of slaves bought is not known. At Grenada, 300 or 307 slaves were sold. The agents of the sale reported that many had died and some were very sick and almost unsaleable.

Muster roll for the ship, the Wasp , sailing from Africa and St Vincent, 1784. The Wasp sailed from New Calabar. The number of slaves bought is not known, but 169 were sold at St Vincent. The ship was unable to find a cargo for the return voyage to Bristol. Failure to get a good cargo on any of the three legs of a slaving voyage could have a major effect on the profits of the venture.

The Pearl sailed for Old Calabar, in Nigeria, with just under £5000 worth of trade goods to buy an unknown number of slaves. At St Vincent, 295 slaves were sold for an average price of £24 1s 6d (equivalent to £1,203 10s 0d at today’s values).
