Description:

Maiden Apple was used as a herbal medicine by enslaved Africans. It can be made into a tea for colds, coughs, fever, diabetes, high blood pressure and gripe. Leaves can be crushed for skin problems; and as a poultice for sprains or a stiff
neck.
