John Pinney

John Pinney left England in 1765 for the island of Nevis in the Eastern Caribbean some three years or so after he inherited the estates. He married Jane Weekes, daughter of William Weekes, Treasurer and Commander of all Forts and Fortifications and plantations on the Island of Nevis, June 14th 1772. John Frederick was born on Nevis March 1st 1773, Elizabeth born January 10th 1774, Azariah born January 6th 1775, Alicia born December 6th 1776, Pretor born May 7th 1781, Mary born at Park Street Bristol September 15th 1786 and Charles born April 29th 1793 in the Georgian House.
